JW Anderson and Diadora's New Sneaker Is Italian Heritage

JW Anderson and Diadora have joined forces to drop a new sneaker collaboration, and this one is taking inspiration straight from the 1970s. Coinciding with the Italian sportswear brand's relaunch of the Equipe sneaker — a running shoe that defined Diadora after its birth in 1975 — the classic silhouette is getting the JW Anderson treatment this season.

The Equipe's slim silhouette is unchanged, with the sporty sneaker featuring a timeless low profile design. Pops of color are Jonathan Anderson's bread and butter, and this collaboration includes every color of the rainbow. The color-blocked designs arrive in shades of blue, red, yellow, green and more, bringing a vibrant twist to the simple design.

JW Anderson laces are layered with plain ones, adding that extra bit of brand identity to the collab. On the heel, the Diadora logo and "1975" are stitched in matching thread, nodding to the Equipe sneaker's original launch year. A JW Anderson heel tab sits just below it, completing the design with dual-branding and elevated details.
