FARM Rio
Born in 1997 from a 40-square-foot Rio market stall run by Kátia Barros and Marcello Bastos, FARM Rio has become Brazil's most recognisable fashion export. The brand's signature is a maximalist, joyful aesthetic of bold tropical prints and breezy silhouettes that celebrate Rio de Janeiro's cultural heritage. After expanding internationally in 2019 with flagship stores in New York and Los Angeles, FARM Rio now operates more than 100 stores worldwide and is stocked at Liberty London, Le Bon Marché and Galeries Lafayette — all without ever showing at a traditional fashion week.
