Umit Benan B+ was founded in 2018 in Milan by Turkish designer Umit Benan as a contemporary luxury menswear brand specifically focused on what Benan described as 'a deliberately-Italian-Turkish architectural tailoring vocabulary anchored to traditional Italian-tailoring craft and deliberately-cinematic cultural references.' The B+ programme was launched as a reinvention of Benan's earlier eponymous Umit Benan menswear label (2009-2015), with the B+ designation deliberately referencing the broader contemporary-luxury menswear category position.
