One of the most acclaimed watches launched in 2025, and one of the most surprising, was the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso “Or Deco.”

The monochromatic pink gold take on the iconic dress watch debuted the Reverso’s first-ever Milanese bracelet, a pairing that proved to be so perfect that everyone was left wondering why it hadn’t been done before.

Well, now JLC is making up for lost time, as it has just launched a quintet of follow-ups to the Or Deco. All are naturally on Milanese bracelets, and while each of these new five Reversos will have its fans, one in particular even surpasses the original.

JLC’s killer Reverso “Or Deco” now comes in a more compact version that’s easier to wear.

Mesh well

The most appealing of JLC’s new crop of mesh-strapped Reversos is the “Or Deco Solo Tempo.” Like the original Or Deco from last year, its rotating Monoface case, mesh bracelet, hands and applied indices all crafted entirely from 18K pink gold, with its grained dial colored to match for a seamless look.

What’s different here, though, is the size. The original Or Deco is in the Reverso’s “Large” size, clocking in at 45.6 long and 27.4mm across. Those may sound like small dimensions, but the Reverso’s rectangular shape makes it wear larger than you’d think.

Like the original Or Deco, the smaller “Solo Tempo” in pink gold is a Reverso Monoface with a sterile back side.

The new “Solo Tempo” version instead falls under the category of “Medium” Reversos, with its case measuring 40.1mm long x 24.4 mm wide. This makes it a lot more wearable for the smaller-wristed among us, and I think, more widely appealing. It’s also very close to the 39mm x 21 mm size of the original Reversos from the 1930s.

What’s more, it has a cleaner dial that I think befits the golden monochromatic nature of the watch. It’s a two-hander that lacks the small-seconds display of its predecessor, and naturally is powered by a different movement: JLC’s hand-wound Calibre 822.

The Solo Tempo alone would be a big deal, but it isn’t the only new watch in what JLC is now calling the ‘Or Deco Series.’

The original Or Deco is now also available in full 18K white gold.

There’s also a new version of the original Or Deco in full 18K white gold. It’s certainly a more discreet option compared to its pink gold twin, but the monochromatic effect is kept intact thanks to its grained silvered-gray dial. It’s a quieter look, for sure, but it’s still just as impressive. And just like on the pink gold version, its Milanese bracelet contains a full 10m of gold thread.

Last but not least are the three Or Deco “Cocktail” models. Sized identically to the original, these models stand apart as the flashiest takes on the style yet. Their monochromatic look is interrupted by a flash of bright color courtesy of gem-setting on the case’s gadroons at 12:00 and 6:00.

The Or Deco “Cocktail” models are each set with 46 gemstones in their cases.

Two versions are in white gold and are set with blue sapphires and emeralds, respectively, while the third option is in pink gold and set with rubies. Each model features a total of 46 baguette-cut gems, and each is limited to just 30 pieces.

Availability and pricing

The Or Deco Series is available for preorder now, and I suspect all will be pretty tough to get, as the original was (and still is).

The Solo Tempo, which is the one I’d take, is actually the most affordable at $42,700. That’s less than the original model from last year, which JLC currently lists at $44,400.

Curiously, the white gold version is quite a bit more expensive at $52,500. Either white gold is considerably pricier than pink gold, or JLC hasn’t updated the SRP on the older model yet. I’m leaning toward the latter.

Lastly, the limited-edition Cocktail models are obviously the most expensive, though it’s unclear by how much. All three have their prices available by request only. You know what they say: If you have to ask, it’s too expensive.
