The American Music Awards (AMA) just wrapped, airing Memorial Day in Las Vegas, with some of the biggest stars descending the red carpet.

K-pop was a huge success, with BTS opening the show with a performance of "Hooligan." The group then took home the top prize, claiming Artist of the Year, and also later accepting Song of the Summer for "Swim." Elsewhere, SZA took home the prize for Best Female R&B Artist, while Sombr took home two awards. Taylor Swift, the top winner in the history of the AMAs, led the nominations with eight nods but left empty-handed.
