IKAL Concept Store

Founded by Concepción Orvañanos and Eduardo Dubost on Polanco's high-end Masaryk avenue, IKAL was conceived as a cultural diffuser as much as a store. It showcases more than 150 independent designers — homeware, footwear, ready-to-wear, jewellery, bags and skincare — with a clear bias for Mexican craft and contemporary aesthetics. Staff are trained to share each maker's backstory, and the store has expanded into a hotel (Hotel IKAL Tulum) and a satellite at the Polanco location's sister address. Considered a benchmark for design-led Mexican retail.
