Vitkac

The Vitkac retail group traces back to 1992, when founder Adam Swierzewski began importing premium men's and women's wear into post-transition Poland; the present-day store opened in 2011 in a striking black-cube building by Stefan Kurylowicz, on the site of pre-war Warsaw's grandest department stores. Five floors house more than 200 luxury houses with direct brand partnerships - Saint Laurent, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Loewe, Fendi, Alaia, Jacquemus - alongside an enviable contemporary buy and a ground-floor accessories bazaar with more than 4,000 designer bags. Add a skate ramp on the third floor, a Wyglada restaurant, a kids' club and a robust e-commerce arm shipping across the EU, US and UK, and Vitkac is unquestionably the dominant luxury address in the Visegrad region.
