Diemme

Diemme was founded in 1992 in Onè di Fonte, Italy by the Signor family as a small Italian outdoor-and-mountaineering footwear workshop specifically focused on producing traditional mountaineering boots for the local Veneto-region Alpine-and-outdoor community. The brand has expanded through the 2010s into a contemporary luxury-anchored 'gorpcore' footwear brand, with the iconic Diemme Roccia Vet hiking-boot programme anchoring the broader brand cultural position. The Diemme vocabulary settled around several specific products: the iconic Diemme Roccia Vet hiking boot (the brand's defining product since the 2010s — a Vibram-soled leather-and-canvas hiking boot with hand-stitched construction that became one of the most-collected post-2015 'gorpcore-luxury' footwear products), the Movida desert-boot programme, the Maggiore approach-shoe variant, various heavyweight-leather mountaineering and Vibram-soled boot models, and a colour palette anchored to natural-tan leather, oxblood, military-olive, washed-cream, ecru, washed-charcoal, plus the brand's recurring use of saturated red-and-yellow safety colour combinations. Production is entirely Italian at the Onè di Fonte factory. The brand is independent and family-controlled by the Signor family. Diemme operates flagship retail at the Onè di Fonte factory shop, plus international wholesale through SSENSE, MR PORTER, MATCHES, Dover Street Market, Antonioli, END., Beams Plus, the broader Japanese-and-American 'gorpcore' streetwear-and-outdoor specialty network, and a curated set of luxury menswear specialty retailers globally. The brand has done long-running collaborations with Engineered Garments, Norse Projects, Marni, A-Cold-Wall*, and the broader contemporary-luxury-streetwear network.
