Emerging Independent
Emergency Room
Lebanese-French designer Eric Mathieu Ritter named his label after his initials and after the medical metaphor: fashion, one of the world's most polluting industries, is in critical condition. Every garment is upcycled from deadstock and vintage materials sourced in Lebanon, then sewn by ateliers in Tripoli and Beirut. Pieces are one-of-a-kind by definition. The brand became a finalist for the Fashion Trust Arabia prize and a quietly defining voice in Middle Eastern sustainable fashion.
