Wandia Gichuru began Vivo in 2011 as a dance and fitness label in a single Nairobi storefront. Fifteen years on, the East African ready-to-wear group designs and manufactures 100% on the continent, with 27 stores across Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, plus a 2024 launch in Atlanta. Vivo Woman, Safari and Zoya sit alongside the activewear line — every fit cut on a Kenyan base block, every print designed in Nairobi.
