Rubaiyat

Abdullah Binzagr and Wafaa Abbar founded Rubaiyat in 1981, decades before luxury retail in Saudi Arabia resembled what it is today, securing exclusive distribution for Giorgio Armani and building outward from there. The Stars Avenue flagship in Jeddah - 4,400 m² across two levels with a 350+ brand mix - was the first full luxury fashion department store in the Kingdom and remains the format other Saudi operators are still trying to match. Rubaiyat now spans Jeddah, Riyadh and other key Saudi cities, carrying houses including Armani, Off-White, Brunello Cucinelli and Loro Piana for men, women, children, home and jewellery.
