Pot Meets Pop
Founded in Bandung in 2009 by Hendry Sasmitapura, Pot Meets Pop fuses rugged American workwear with the visual mischief of pop culture, the brand's name nodding to the founder's twin obsessions with counterculture and youth iconography. The line centers on raw selvedge jeans, chore coats and graphic tees built on globally-sourced fabrics, and the brand has since opened a Bandung flagship and stocked into Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Japan and the United States. Indonesia's Creative Economy Agency selected PMP to represent the country at Long Beach's Agenda Show in 2018 and 2019, and a collaboration with Urban Outfitters brought the label to American shoppers.
