Le Mill

Founded in March 2011 by Frenchwoman Julie Leymarie and Italian-French Cecilia Morelli Parikh, Le Mill opened in a converted 15,000 sqft rice mill in Mumbai's Wadi Bunder area before relocating its flagship to Colaba in 2015. The store became India's first credibly European multi-brand boutique, importing Isabel Marant, Chloe, Marni, Jacquemus, The Row and Khaite long before the country had a proper luxury e-commerce infrastructure. The 'Eyes in Paris, Heart in Mumbai' tagline is reflected in the buy: alongside the European lineup, Le Mill carries Indian designers like Bodice, Pero, Eka and Dhruv Kapoor, plus a thoughtful homeware and books selection. It remains the reference point cited by every BoF and Vogue feature on the Indian luxury market.
